The Charlestown Harmonizers
Charlestown Retirement Community, Catonsville, MD
The Harmonizers is a mixed chorus of about 45 residents of the Charlestown Retirement Community in Catonsville, MD, who give two concerts a year; a Spring Concert at the beginning of June and a Holiday Concert at the beginning of December.
The 2016 Spring Concert will be given on
June 2 and 3 at 7:30 p.m. in the Auditorium in the Edgewood Building on
the Charlestown Campus.
The 2015 Holiday Concert was given on December 3 and 4 in the Auditorium in the Edgewood Building.
The week following the Auditorium concerts, a shorter concert is usually given in Continuing Care (formerly Renaissance Gardens), Charlestown's Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living facility. The picture above was taken at the Spring 2014 Concert in the Auditorium.
picture below was taken May 23, 2015 at the opening Memorial Day ceremony at the
Field of Honor on the front field of Charlestown. The Director, Evelyn
Chesnutt, backed by the Harmonizers, is leading the audience in singing
the Star-Spangled Banner. The Field displayed 1000 American flags, many
purchased to honor a Veteran.
